I‘m going to talk about snorkeling, which is my all-time favorite outdoor activity. Although I haven't done it many times before, it stills stands out as the activity that I love the most.

 

I've been snorkeling twice, once in Okinawa, and another time in Fiji. Okinawa is a beautiful island in Japan. Before we went snorkeling there, my wife and I were a little worried coz we'd never done that before. But it turned out there was nothing to worry about - our instructor had a board and we could cling to it and all we had to do was just float on the sea and enjoy the spectacular underwater world. I have to say, I was totally blown away by the beauty down there. There were so many fish and corals of different colors. It was miraculous. Three months ago, we went to Fiji, and we went snorkeling on our own this time. It sounds more challenging, but we pulled it off.

 

How to do it ... well, snorkeling is extremely easy. You just put on goggles, a snorkel and a pair of fins and then you can just go and do it. Even if you can't swim, it's not a problem. Just put on a life-jacket and that can keep you afloat.

 

I think I love snorkeling so much mainly because I love the beauty of the world under the sea. When I'm floating and looking down at everything, I just can't help but marvel at the wonders our world has to offer.
