Question1
Describe a common mistake that experienced teachers often make.
Describe a mistake that you once made这样的题目,同学们的回答可能都变成了自己的忏悔书、认错信的风格。
2)experienced teacher
我想到的比如:judge a student based on past experience, unwilling to admit mistakes they made, presume that students lack self-discipline, stop answering questions patiently, etc.
I would say that experienced teachers often misjudge students based on their previous improper behaviors, which may cause unfairness. To be more specific, experienced teachers seldom buy students’ excuses for the delay in assignments or being late for school, since the majority of students in the past failed to do so because they lacked self-discipline and motivation. However, as a matter of fact, accidents do happen sometimes, and not all the reasons student provide are excuses, as occasionally the dog does eat the paper and the bus does break down on the half way.
However, in most of these cases, experienced teachers often tend not to trust their students and students don’t have opportunity to make further explanations.
Question 2
Which do you prefer when you were a child, playing indoors or outdoors?
I prefer to play outdoors when I was a kid who once wanted to explore the outside world. Firstly, the open field made me feel more energetic and refreshed. For example, when I was a child, I liked more oxygen, more sunshine and open field cuz the nature told me more than I can learn from books. Secondly, playing outside means I could meet more children at my age, having the same interest in games and tricks. When I was a kid, I used to spend the whole day long with my friends running in the close neighborhoods, making new friends and visiting old ones. I believe nothing can be more fascinating than being outside from home for kids at that age.
